Untitled [A Sediment of Loss] is an experimental performative AI film. The work rejects cinematic grammar in favour of austere theatrical presence, where grief is articulated through repetition, collapse, and unresolved gesture. The film itself is conceived to be played on a continuous loop. Blackout intervals punctuate the piece, carrying sound and absence as part of the language itself. The sound design was composed in layers, treated as sediments that build and erode across the work. The film is designed for projection on a vertical panel, where surrounding void holds the stage in suspension. AI here is not treated as automation but as a medium that translates grief into presence.
